How to Update Item and Distributor Information in Scintilla Power BI Report

Maintaining accurate item and distributor data ensures reliable reporting and smooth system performance. This guide outlines how to review and request updates to your item and distributor information in your Scintilla Power BI Report.

Updating Item Information

To verify and request changes to item details:

  1. Navigate to the "Item Check" tab
    Access the Scintilla Power BI Report and open the Item Check report to review all items currently displayed from Scintilla.

  2. Fields Eligible for Update
    The following fields can be updated by our team:

    • Item Name

    • Brand

    • SubBrand

    • SubCategory

    • Size Value

  3. Submit a Change Request

    • Export the report to Excel.

    • Mark the necessary changes and highlight all edits.

    • Email the exported file with your changes to Support@InfoSource.ai or submit a support ticket for processing.

      Note: Please allow up to one week for these changes to be reflected in your Scintilla Power BI Report.

 

Updating Distributor Information

Follow these steps to request distributor updates:

  1. Check Current Distributor Mappings

    • Open the Distributor Check tab in your Scintilla Power BI Report.

    • Review how distributors are currently mapped to store/item combinations.

    • Export the report to Excel for further review if needed.

    Note: This report does not include store/item combinations with no distributor mapping (NULL values).

  2. Identify Unmapped Distributors (NULL Values)

    • Go to the Static Topline or Summary tab in your Power BI Report.

    • In the Distributor Performance table, check for entries with NULL distributors.

    • If "NULL" distributors represent a meaningful portion of your sales, proceed to the next step in this article to request updates.

Requesting Updates to Distributor Information - For Suppliers

To correct or complete distributor mappings:

  1. Email Support@InfoSource.ai to request your Distributor Matrix.

  2. Our team will send you an Excel file containing your current distributor mappings.

  3. Review and update the file as needed, making sure to highlight any changes.

  4. Return the updated file to our support team for processing.

Note: Please allow up to one week for these changes to be reflected in your Scintilla Power BI Report.
