Improved Daily Refresh Time
We’ve made enhancements to the daily data refresh process for the Walmart Power BI reports, resulting in faster refresh completion times. Previously, refreshes occurred later in the day, but they are now typically completed 2–3 hours earlier.
Current Refresh Schedule:
Walmart Power BI reports now refresh daily between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM EST, depending on the amount of data being pulled from Scintilla.
Please note that reports are refreshed daily. However, on Saturdays, the refresh occurs later in the afternoon because Walmart’s reporting week begins that day, and the data becomes available later than usual. Each refresh reflects data from the previous day.
Improved Buyer Granularity
Based on feedback from our Walmart Power BI users, we have enhanced our backend to allow Buyers to be assigned by UPC, Store, or State. Previously, Buyers could only be assigned by State, Category, or the default information pulled from Scintilla. This improvement enables better tracking of Buyers and supports more actionable insights.
How to Update Your Buyers:
-
Contact our Data Services team here.
-
Our team will provide an Excel report where you can specify which UPC, Store, or State each Buyer should be assigned to.
-
Submit the completed report back to us. The changes will then be implemented and reflected in your reports.
Please Note: Changes may take up to 1 week to be processed. Depending on the request volume, updates may be completed sooner, but no longer than 1 week.
Summary Report Metric Update
In the Summary Report, the visual titled “Performance” has been updated to replace the “Str Cnt” metric with “Units % Delta.”
This change enhances consistency across reports and provides a clearer view of performance trends.
Store Specific Cost and Retail Now Available for Scintilla Basic
With Scintilla now providing access to Current Store-Specific Cost and Current Store-Specific Retail in Scintilla Basic, we have added these metrics to the Current Pricing report in the Walmart Power BI report.
The metrics appear as:
-
"Current SS Retail" — representing Current Store-Specific Retail
-
"Current SS Cost" — representing Current Store-Specific Cost
Adding these metrics provides more accurate, store-level pricing insights, helping users make better-informed pricing and inventory decisions.
