Timeline and Details for Circana's Removal of RMA and CRMA Data
Circana is permanently removing the RMA and CRMA geographies for several major retailers from our extracts. Fintech is archiving the most recent 104 weeks of data for these retailers in a separate CMA workbook.
As a result of restrictions imposed by retailers (restricting their data from being moved from Circana to Fintech in data extracts) Circana will be permanently removing RMA and CRMA geographies for the retailers listed below from our weekly data extracts. This is expected to occur in July 2026 and the exact date is TBD by Circana
- Wawa
- RaceTrac
- Circle K
- Albertsons Co
- Wakefern
- DeCA/Military
In July 2026, Circana will remove the RMA and CRMA geographies for these retailers, meaning those geographies will no longer be available in the standard CMA workbook.
Before this occurs, Fintech will add an archived CMA workbook to your Tableau library which captures the full 104 weeks of data for these retailers’ RMA and CRMA geographies leading up to the final week ending date we've received for them.
Geographies which are not RMAs or CRMAs (e.g., Total US - Food, Northeast - Standard - Conv, Pennsylvania - Multi Outlet+, Philadelphia, PA - Food, etc.) will be unaffected and will still include data for these retailers. For example, Total US - Food will still include AlbertsonsCo and Wakefern data, and Total US - Conv will still include WaWa, RaceTrac, and Circle K data.
