CMA Refresh Types

Refresh Types Explained

See the 2024 InfoSource Delivery Schedule for expected refresh dates and the refresh types associated with these refresh dates. This CMA Refresh Calendar and Process article will go in more detail about the CMA refresh process and the expected dates to watch out for.

Weekly Refresh:
No changes (new items, coding updates) will apply. This refresh will simply add another week of data while also dropping a week from the beginning of the current 52 week timeframe.

Monthly Refresh (New items can show up): In addition to the new week of data being added, this refresh will also contain all new items from Circana’s previous monthly New Item Report. Also, this refresh can include updates to Supplier/Vendor and Style values.

Quarterly QUAD Refresh:
In addition to the new week of data being added, this refresh can contain all other types of coding updates which have been scheduled from the previous request window.

Bi-Annual Restatements: Circana restates full historical data twice per year, one in the Spring and the second in the Fall. Circana does not provide exact ETAs for these restatements, but InfoSource will notify you once it's coming up.
